The Bente sofa, an iconic design by Piet Boon, marks a new direction within the outdoor collection as the first fully upholstered lounge series. Whereas previous designs often followed clean lines, the Bente opts for a softer aesthetic with rounded corners on all wooden parts and refined details in the back and armrests. Made from high-quality teak and equipped with weather-resistant cushions, this sofa brings ultimate indoor comfort to the outdoor space. A harmonious balance between functionality and a luxurious appearance on the terrace.

  • Available as a fixed 2-seater, 3-seater, and 4-seater variant, as well as various open sofa elements for modular corner arrangements.
  • The frame is made from A-grade teak with stainless steel (RVS) fittings for maximum weather resistance.
  • The cushions are filled with water-permeable polyurethane foam and covered with easy-to-clean Piet Boon outdoor fabrics.
  • The 4-seater variant has a generous length of 313 cm and a depth of 100 cm for optimal lounging comfort.

 

The Bente sofa is designed to seamlessly align with the design philosophy of Studio Piet Boon, with the user at the center. These garden furniture pieces excel thanks to their robust armrests and soft cushions, resulting in a seating experience that invites hours of relaxation. By combining the open elements with the Bente coffee table, the sofa can even be placed in challenging corner arrangements. The untreated wood and technical fabrics ensure that the set can remain outdoors all year round.
