The outdoor season is coming

Why February is the perfect month for your new terrace

It may seem early, but at feelathome in Boortmeerbeek, we are busy setting up the outdoor settings this week. The first terraces in our gardens are already ready with beautiful collections such as the Tribù Mood, Tribù Senja, and Kettal Giro. More settings will follow in the coming days, including the new Tribù Elio. And no, that early start is no coincidence.

We have been designing outdoor spaces for over 20 years, and we know: whoever visits now will enjoy it first later.

The spring fever starts to come after that one ray of sunshine between the rain showers. You are already thinking about your terrace, about long summer evenings outside, about that new lounge set you've been dreaming about for months. And that's exactly where the strength of starting early lies.

"6 weeks from drawing your plan to delivery."

Why start your outdoor project now?

At feelathome, we go for the personal touch. We combine furniture from different brands with our own custom work, special upholsteries, and unique decorations. This means your outdoor setting is usually produced on request by the manufacturer.

Enjoy as soon as possible

Calculate it: whoever decides now can fully enjoy it by the Easter holidays. And we all know that Belgian summers are quite short. So every moment you can enjoy your garden furniture is more than welcome.

Exclusive choice from full collections

February means first pick. All the new collections are in, all colors and configurations are available, and you have all the time to choose calmly. Later in the season, popular versions are often temporarily sold out or have longer delivery times.

Personal attention without crowds

The pre-season is the ideal time for an extensive consultation. Our interior architects have all the time to think along with you about the perfect setup, material choice, and that finishing touch that makes your terrace unique.

What you discover in our gardens this week

The new outdoor collections 2026

The setup is in full swing, and the first settings already show the latest outdoor trends. From this weekend, you can admire some of these collections on our terraces in Hever-Boortmeerbeek

Discover our projects

Tribù Mood - Mood calls for afternoons that run over. For books you forget to put away. The soft lines invite, the deep seat holds. This is a lounge set that doesn't say "look at me" but "stay here". Years of Tricord weaving, years of comfort. The kind of furniture that goes along in stories.

Handwoven Tricord (recycled polyester with polyolefin coating, UV-resistant) around a teak frame from East Java. Studio Segers designed this collection around tactility: the feeling of rope under your fingers, the warmth of teak in the sun. Choose your color from nature-inspired shades (Moss, Linen, Wengé, Earthbrown, Stonegrey) and you become part of the material.

Designer: Studio Segers

Tribù Senja - Senja calls for long evenings. For conversations that run over, for that one extra bottle of wine. The cushions don't suffocate, they enclose. The ventilating filling braves rain showers — outdoor without compromise. Five years after launch still at the top, because the experience remains right. This is not design that screams. It whispers quality.

The Senja translates Scandinavian tranquility into Belgian craftsmanship. Studio Segers designed in 2019 a modular system where comfort breaks the dogma: minimalism doesn't have to be hard. Nordic cushions with voluminous piping, a light backrest in Canax® (hemp weave), legs in plantation teak or powder-coated aluminum. Choose from 112 water-repellent fabrics. Every choice substantiated, every line intentional.

Designer: Studio Segers

Kettal Giro - Giro invites with curved edges and tactile authenticity. The rope has its own rhythm — pattern, thickness, stitch detail. You feel craftsmanship without it imposing itself. Mediterranean character in a Flemish context. The kind of furniture that looks like it lasts for generations, while it's industrially produced with sustainable materials. Modern vernacular — a contradiction that fits.

Vincent Van Duysen (Belgian architect) reinterpreted the traditional Orkney chair for Spanish brand Kettal. Where the Orkney used straw, Van Duysen chooses recycled polypropylene rope — thick, twisted, stitched in layers. Combined with teak you get something vernacular, something that seems like it has always been there. The materials are the protagonists. The design doesn't feel designed, but emerged.

Designer: Vincent Van Duysen (Belgium)

Tribù Elio - Yabu Pushelberg (Canada) designed for Tribù's 2025 collection a family of soft shapes inspired by two natural phenomena: water-smooth stones and the movement of light. The name refers to Helios, the Greek sun god. Low profiles, graceful curves, modular back and armrests. Handwoven Tricord rope in the shades of evening light — warm, silky, intimate.

Elio creates cocoons. You compose your own configuration, but the collection always encloses you. This is outdoor living as scenography: light moving over surfaces, shadows shifting, materials reacting to seasons. Not just functional, but emotional. The latest step in Tribù's evolution — where craftsmanship and poetry meet.

Why investing in design garden furniture pays off

The difference between regular garden furniture and design garden furniture? It's in every detail. At feelathome, we believe that quality garden furniture is an investment, not a purchase.

Durability you can see

Brands like Tribù and Dedon design garden furniture that lasts for decades. Where budget garden furniture needs replacement after 3-4 seasons, your design lounge set still looks perfect after 10 years.

The initial investment is higher. The cost per year of use? Much lower. That's exactly why more and more people choose design garden furniture over budget alternatives.

Belgian craftsmanship

We are particularly proud of our partnership with Tribù and Atelier Vierkant. These Belgian outdoor brands export worldwide, but you can find the full collection right here in Flemish Brabant, in our gardens in Boortmeerbeek.

That Belgian craftsmanship - that attention to detail, that durability, that design - that's what we stand for.

trends

New materials - This year we see fascinating innovations in outdoor fabrics. Water-repellent yet with a natural feel. Colors that remain beautiful for years. Textures you have to feel to believe.

Trendy colors - Soft green remains dominant, but we also see warm terracotta tones and surprisingly: deep indigo blue. Natural shades that perfectly match Flemish garden architecture.

Comfort that makes the difference

The difference between regular garden furniture and design outdoor furniture? You have to feel it. The ergonomics of a Tribù Mood chair, the timeless seating experience of the Senja collection, the playful design of Kettal Giro - these are things you need to experience.

The way materials feel and adapt to your body, how cushions provide just the right support, how you are still comfortable after an hour of sitting.

That's why we always say: come by and sit down. Test the different collections. The Tribù Mood feels different from the Senja, and the Kettal Giro has its own character. Experiencing it convinces more than any photo.

Complete comfort: from lounge sets to accessories

A full outdoor season is not only enjoyed with the right garden furniture. At feelathome, we think further: lounge sets for relaxation, dining tables for conviviality, parasols for shelter, lighting for atmosphere, and decoration that completes your terrace.

The right accessories complete your outdoor space. From cushions that add comfort to planters that bring greenery - it's those finishing touches that make the difference.

Frequently Asked Questions About Garden Furniture

How do I maintain design garden furniture?

Design garden furniture from brands like Tribù, Flexform, Atelier Vierkant and Dedon is made to stay outside. Regular cleaning with water and neutral soap is usually sufficient.

We also always recommend giving your garden furniture a thorough maintenance twice a year. The ideal time is when the first spring sun is out and it's already 15 degrees. Then everyone feels like taking care of their garden set because then you will enjoy it all season long. But you should also repeat this at the end of the season. Because then they go into winter clean. That will make maintenance in the coming spring much easier.

Maintenance of garden furniture is not only about cleaning the furniture but also protecting it. For both actions, we have specific products. We always have these in stock in the store.

Cushions are best stored indoors in the winter. This way, you avoid possible mold formation.

We always provide full maintenance instructions for your specific garden furniture upon delivery.

Can garden furniture stay outside all year round?

Of course, most quality design garden furniture is made to stand outside year-round. Cushions and textiles are best taken indoors in the winter.

For optimal lifespan of your garden furniture, you can also choose protective covers during the coldest and wettest months. This will also ensure that cleaning after winter will go much smoother.

What is the difference between budget and design garden furniture?

Quality design garden furniture uses premium materials (first choice teak, aluminum, high-quality weaving, waterproof fabrics), has thoughtful ergonomic comfort. They also last many years longer because even for the finish, e.g., lacquer work, only premium materials are used, which are also used for intensive use or in the maritime world. The initial investment is higher, but the cost per year of use is often lower than with budget garden furniture that needs to be replaced regularly.

At feelathome, we consciously focus on top quality garden furniture. Not because we don't want to sell budget options, but because we know that quality and service are important to our customers.

Do you deliver and install as well?

Yes, absolutely. Our own experienced installers deliver and set everything up according to plan. We take the packaging and waste with us. You only need to enjoy.

Can you incorporate my existing terrace into the design?

Certainly. We are happy to come on-site to take measurements and assess the situation. This way, we can make a proposal that perfectly fits your terrace, taking into account orientation, dimensions, architectural elements, and the materials used.
