A large square farmhouse in the hilly Flemish Brabant. What was immediately noticeable? The enormous, high space. The challenge? Creating atmosphere and coziness. By leaving the brick wall natural and using warm colors for the fabrics and cushions, a warm and homely interior was created. The partially restored farmhouse was enriched with a personal touch and thus gained a unique identity.
Spacious sitting area
The enormous, spacious sitting area forms the absolute eye-catcher of the square farmhouse, which is completely open up to the roof trusses.
Central to this is the large, organically shaped Linteloo Gilbert sofa combined with the Linteloo Isola coffee table in dark-tinted, brushed wood.
The Occhio Mito Largo arc lamp appears to float above the living room and accentuates the space.
Coziness and softness
Two Flexform Thomas armchairs also executed in dark wood and upholstered in a warm, rust-brown shade together create a stylish, inviting setting that exudes both luxury and coziness.
The wide high-pile JoV carpet adds softness.
Contrast
The sitting area is subtly enclosed by a custom-made fully upholstered orange-pink room divider that simultaneously breaks the white of the high built-in cabinets.
The Porada Biblio wall shelf in solid walnut also contrasts with the white walls.
