Complete makeover of classic fermette
Behind the charming facade of a classic fermette lies a surprisingly spacious, contemporary villa. The existing house was carefully and skillfully renovated, preserving the authentic elements while meeting contemporary living standards. A seamless, light-filled extension was added to the original volume.
Light-filled extension
The light-filled extension of this stylish villa embraces the living space, the lounge, and the living kitchen.
The eye-catcher is the spacious Flexform Groundpiece sofa which offers ample space to accommodate guests. The swiveling Flexform Boss armchair by the fireplace is a beloved reading spot.
Contrast of light and dark
The custom cabinets and kitchen are designed by feelathome and expertly custom-made by experienced interior builders.
Here too, the contrast between light and dark plays a central role – with a dark cabinet wall as a counterbalance to the light kitchen island.
The More Harri bar stools have the same fabric and leather upholstery as the chairs at the dining table, for a harmonious whole.
Warm and cozy place
In the adjoining rooms, you enter the original part of the house. Ceramic tiles give way to oak herringbone parquet and a dark, classic color palette. With the wood-burning fireplace on, this is a warm, cozy place where the residents like to retreat in the evening.
The sitting area consists of a compact Flexform Soft Dream sofa, a custom-made coffee table in dark wood, and a high-pile JoV carpet.
